Explore the inside of the Chatterbox, Augusta, NJ’s 50’s-style drive-up restaurant, forever in this virtual tour from its final weeks in business.
Sussex County, NJ was rocked when the long-time 50's-style restaurant The Chatterbox announced that it would be closing for good after Labor Day in 2018 so its owner can enjoy retirement. A staple of The Wanderer's car club, annual attendees of the NJ State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show, and baseball fans from the stadium across the street, many folks expressed their feelings across social media about the closure.
Caity and I visited the famous Wildwoods sign to complete the "tourist experience" on a week-long trip down the Jersey Shore. So of course I took the opportunity to make my poor wife walk in circles behind me in the blazing heat while I took a 360º photo of it!
Aside from being home to Lake Mohawk Country Club, the super cool place where my wife and I got married, Lake Mohawk is a place that Caity and I visit pretty often, either for the incredible homemade ice cream, the burgers at Krogh's, or just to walk the boardwalk and take in the sunset over the water.
This week, we opted for the latter of those three, taking in the sunset over the beach, just off the boardwalk. So what better time of day to take a 360º photo?
You've never seen Lodestar Park quite like this... I can promise you that!
